To allow appropriate time with our patients and clients, we operate by appointment only.
We strive to see appointments on time. However, unexpected emergencies or urgent cases may create unavoidable delays. We do our best to minimize delays as much as possible.
If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify the clinic at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
In the event of two documented appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or the patient is a "no-show" for their appointment, Rice Creek Animal Hospital reserves the right to require a $55 deposit to secure any future appointments. Notification allows the clinic to better utilize appointments for other patients in need of prompt medical care.
In order to keep all pets and people safe and minimize stress, we request that dogs arrive on a leash with a collar that is not able to slip off, or in a carrier, and all cats arrive in a carrier.
If you suspect your pet to have a contagious condition, please call the clinic when you arrive so we can ensure we have a room available to bring you and your pet into in a timely manner.
Payment is required at the time of services. Services will be discussed prior to treatment, and we are happy to provide an estimate upon request.
We accept the following payment methods:
Please allow 1-2 business days for refills of common prescriptions/preventatives/diets. Should your pet be on a prescription item that is ordered specifically for them, please allow 5-7 days for refills to allow for ordering and shipping time.
